On Saturday night some of the Tienda Digital team, as well as some other important guests, attended a comedy night in aid of the charity the Alzheimer’s Society.
The charity is one close to Tienda Digital and is our chosen charitable cause for the year. We have both planned and attended lots of events in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society over the past 18 months. This includes a quiz night and taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge back in July.
The event, which was held at Fulwood Golf Club, saw lots of different comedy acts doing their pieces. Daniel Fisher, Tienda’s Director, invited Jackie Fisher from PM&M Accountants who attended with her husband. They were also accompanied by Martin Mulvey, a Project Manager, and Developer at Tienda Digital.
Who are the Alzheimer’s Society?
The Alzheimer’s society is a care and research charity for people suffering from dementia and their carers. The charity helps those who have a range of brain diseases, working to improve the quality of life of the people affected by dementia in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The charity relies on donations from the public, so these fundraising activities are really important to the cause.
Fantastic Amount Raised!
The comedy night was a great success having helped raise over £2000 for the charity! It was enjoyed by all! We would like to say a big thank you to Sue Swain, from the Alzheimer’s Society, for helping to organise the event. We’d also like to thank Fulwood Golf Club for hosting the gig, and to Jackie Fisher for joining us for the evening.
