Our director, Daniel Fisher, took part and recently completed the National 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
Back in September last year, we announced our partnership with the mental health charity, Alzheimer’s Society. They work with those suffering from the disease, as well as dementia and memory loss. We detailed that our decision was based on many members of the team having personal experience with the disease, and it was a unanimous decision.
We’ve spent the past year planning events and raising money for the cause, and this time we’re proud to say we have raised another significant sum!
The National 3 Peak Challenge saw Daniel and a number of other individuals from the Lancashire business community take part. This included Ruth Jackson from Elements Day Spa and WASH Consultant Roger Singleton. It involved visiting the dizzy heights of Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike all in under 24 hours. The team managed to do the challenge in the time frame given and we are excited to say that we managed to raise over £1,000 on our JustGiving page.
The team had a fantastic time taking part in the challenge and we’re all very proud of what they managed to achieve. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all those who got involved in the event and to those who kindly donated to the cause; we thought we’d also treat you to some of the pictures taken on the hike, take a look below!
